So often we talk about how teachers need to take chances using technology in the classroom. We worry about how we will learn, effectively incorporate technology into lessons.
While I agree that there are risks in adding technology to your classroom, the risk of not adding technology is far greater. What are kids going to be using when they enter the world? How will they manage adapting to the new technological challenges available in the world if 1. they are not exposed to them on a regular basis and 2. the people who are supposed to be role models for learning (teachers) are not willing to take that chance.
Using technology in your classroom is not te real risk. Not using technology in your room is a risk that will most certainly put your students at a disadvantage. Be willing to take that chance for the improvement of your kid’s lives.
